OpenAI, the renowned artificial intelligence research lab, has revealed its entry into the Asian market by inaugurating its first office in Tokyo, Japan. The company’s debut in Japan includes the release of a custom GPT-4 model optimised for the Japanese language.

Introducing the Custom GPT-4 Model

OpenAI is offering early access to a custom GPT-4 model, specially optimised for the Japanese language. The model boasts enhanced performance in translating and summarizing Japanese text, and is reported to operate up to three times faster than its predecessor.
